Hello beautiful backers,
The campaign is complete! Thank you so much for your support.
Thanks to you, we're able to print MythFall issue #1 and we unlocked 3 milestone goals & 2 stretch goals:
- Milestone 1: Issue #1 Icon Pack
- Milestone 2: Spotify playlist for Issue #1
- Milestone 3: Sketch Cover
- Stretch Goal 1: Kate McMillan Concept Art Miniprint Set
- Stretch Goal 2: MothBurst Holographic die-cut sticker
But the best reward of all is being able to print this book and get it into your hands.
Thank you so much for believing in MythFall & supporting our crazy dream. The wonderful thing about Kickstarter is the way it enables creators to connect directly with their crowd: the people who are going to love their work. I really hope you enjoy this book and I'm eager to get it out to you.
What Happens Next?
Now we work on fulfilling your orders and getting MythFall into your hands. Here is a breakdown of the next stages of the campaign.
1 - Kickstarter validates the credit card information & charges the cards
Now that the campaign is over, Kickstarter will charge the credit cards they have on file. Some card information will have been incorrect or expired, so Kickstarter spends about 2 weeks following up to try and get updated information. At that point, we'll know the final total we raised.
2 - We send out backer surveys with BackerKit so we know where to send your rewards
After Kickstarter validates our final list of backers, we send out a survey.
It's really important to fill out the survey so we know where to send your order.
We use BackerKit to manage surveys & fulfillment. You'll get an email from BackerKit confirming your email and/or shipping address along with a receipt of your order. We'll also update Kickstarter so you know to look for the surveys when they go out. BackerKit will also let you include additional add-ons when you fill out the survey if there was something you missed during the Kickstarter.
3 - We order the rewards!
We're printing MythFall Issue #1 with Comic Impressions. They're located in Naples, just a quick jaunt across alligator alley from us. We printed both issues of Incident Report with them and got high-quality results. We have the option to ship the issues to us or drive over and pick them up which gives us a lot of flexibility.
After ordering, we wait a little while for the orders to be produced.
Once we get all the items delivered to us, we can assemble and ship the rewards out to you. We'll update you once the orders are placed and should have a more accurate idea at that point of what delivery window to expect.
Thanks so much for sticking with us!

If you're sad the MythFall Kickstarter is over, I have some recommendations below for additional projects you might like.
Cool Stuff on Kickstarter
The indie comic space on Kickstarter is really vibrant. There are a lot of cool projects being produced. Here are a few Kickstarters live right now that I recommend checking out that really demonstrate the breadth of what is out there.
Detective Potatoes: The Case of the Coffee Apocalypse
This unique project is a comedic noir illustrated novel about a town that turns to zombies due to a coffee shortage. Very relatable! They're about $400 away from hitting their goal with just 1 day left on their Kickstarter.
FOREST FOLK: 3 Books of Zany Animal Comic Strips
A heartfelt mash-up of Calvin & Hobbes meets Looney Tunes. Fans of Animaniacs, Sunday funnies, and cute woodland creatures should give this project a look!
ZUFAN #1-2: African history x Sci-fi Comic Series
This project features an afro-futurism meets Mass Effect style setting with a story based on the battle of Adwa, a real event in the history of Ethiopia. Plus there are laser swords!
The Crimson Tower is a fantasy-noir comic featuring a grimdark anti-hero, who must solve a terrifying mystery in a brutal world full of myths and magic. The protagonist is Graven, a Geralt-looking antihero whose companion is a giant wise-cracking spirit dog.
SkySharks - Diesel Punk Action Adventure
Diesel-punk action/adventure covers a lot but the project has a pulp-anime vibe that reminds me of shows I loved on Toonami or Adult Swim back in the 2000s.

Whew! Here we are at the end of this update. You'll hear from me again in a week or two once Kickstarter has finished its processing.
It's been a wild ride and while the campaign itself is over, we're only beginning the adventure of fulfillment - And MythFall as a whole.
Again, thank you so much.
Fervently,
Cici
